How do I upload sheet music?

Open the arranger, pick your tune and the chair it is for, and upload the chart as an image (PNG or JPG). Several pages stack into one long scrolling chart, so select all the pages of a part together.

For the sharpest result, export your sheet at 300 DPI (around 2,000 to 2,500 pixels wide). A smaller image gets stretched to fit and looks soft, especially on a high-resolution screen.

I have a stack of PDFs. Can I import them all at once?

Yes. Open the bulk importer, drag in all your PDF parts together (and any backing tracks), and it builds a tune for each song with its sax-section chairs in place. It reads the part from the filename, renders every page at 300 DPI, and stitches multi-page parts into one scrolling sheet.

It groups parts into the right tune from the file name, so name them consistently, for example 'Song Name - Tenor Sax 1' and 'Song Name - Alto'. You get to check and fix the list before anything is created.

How do I add parts for different instruments?

Two ways. Add a separate chair per instrument and give each its own chart. Or add several charts to one chair, so a player can flip between, say, alto and tenor on the same screen.

How do players switch between parts?

If the parts sit on one chair, a small toggle appears on the chart to switch between them. If they are separate chairs, tap View part on the chair you want to read.

I uploaded the wrong backing track. How do I replace it?

In the arranger, with your tune selected, there is a Backing track box. Upload the new file and it takes over everywhere the tune plays. If the new take has a different tempo or intro, run Calibrate scroll again so the chart still lines up.

What is Calibrate scroll?

It teaches the chart how to follow this particular track so the sheet music scrolls in time. Do it once per chart after uploading, then save it for everyone.

Can the backing track be a WAV, or does it have to be an MP3?

Either. Upload a WAV and we keep your lossless original for the master mix and make a small MP3 copy for everyone to practise and play along with, so the room stays fast to load. Upload an MP3 and it is used as-is.

Where a lossless original was kept, a Download lossless WAV link appears next to the backing so you can pull it back any time.
